Day 1 & 2
Brisbane, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Heathrow, Romsey, Bournmouth
The main reason for our trip to was to see our son Matt and meet Louisa and her family. Matt went to the UK to play cricket for one of the teams in the Hampshire league in 2008 for 6 months. We thought that we had better go and see Matt as we didn't think he would be coming home anytime soon. Our daughter Belinda and grand daughter Maddison came with us while Scott was doing a lot of study during his final months at the Queensland Police Academy.
I was one of those people that never wanted to travel to far overseas, that was until we went to the UK and Paris. This trip opened our minds as to how much their is to see and enjoy. We enjoyed every moment of our trip and will definately be planning a return trip.

The following photo's are a selection of some of the 1700 + pictures that I had taken along with some that Belinda took while in different areas.

We started our trip based out of Romsey for 6 days, before we flew across to Paris from Southampton for 4 days and than caught the Eurorail back into London for 7 days.

It was one of those trips where we saw a lot but missed so much at the same time. When you go through the photo's it will be pretty easy to work out who is Pa's little girl.

We hired a motor home for 17 days and headed up towards Scotland via the east coast and than down the west coast back into England and into Wales and back into England.
Maddison sleeping in before we wake her for her big trip.
Enjoying the space to move around and have fun on the way to Singapore.
We had a 45 minute stop over in Singapore which gave us enough time to have a quick walk around part of the terminal.

Day 3
Romsey - Avebury - Bath - Bradford upon Avon

We headed out of Romsey for Salisbury and onto Stonehenge for a look at the circle of stones. We had been told the best view was from the highway driving in and it was. When you get closer you can't actually get a clear look at them because of the fencing. We decided not to go in for a look and continued onto Avebury.
After leaving Stonehenge we went up through Devizes to Avebury. A very nice little village which was ringed with standing stones. The area had character and a sense of being with the stones and the large hand dug channel surrounding the village. While in the village Google street view camera was going through on a pushbike.
Walking around the stones.
